I originally had my heart set on a Cyber Punk look. Although I do think the finished product can pass as such I think it could also be quite a few other things. My camera is here!! My camera is here!! My camera is here!! Ok, fin. Sorry, I'm just really excited. It's so much more complicated than I expected. I'm not even through the manual yet and it's making my head spin. Hubby was playing around and took a picture of a lipstick tube that was probably 10 or more feet away and you could read the shade name. 0_o I must first figure out how to use my new precious, but expect better than ever videos soon!

It seems this may have been brewing for awhile now. Stila has went down hill since it was sold by Estee Lauder to Sun Capital Partners in 2006, the products got cut down to only being available at Ulta, Bloomingdale’s, and Sephora.

According to Fashionista.com employees were given little notice, arriving to offices that were shut down yesterday morning.

Fashionista goes on to say that their several attempts to contact Stila via e-mail and phone calls went unanswered.

Another kicker is that Stila's website has been down for around a week now. It states that it's just routine maintenance, but adds that orders placed between March 23 and March 24 may be canceled. Why cancel orders if it's only routine maintenance?

I feel for the people who truely loved Stila, but I'm not one of them. I do have to admit thoughts of mass amounts at discount retailers like Marshalls and TJMaxx does get my heart a beating.

I am lemming the shadow duo, I'm dreaming of intense sunset eyes for summer. I don't have many yellow or orangeish shadows, this would get much use I believe. I also love the gloss, milky pink with specks of gold! Can you say universally flattering? The nail varnish does speak of warm and happy times but I think I can skip out on the $16 price tag and find a cheaper alternative. I will be looking for a similar color to add to my stash.

High Heel Gladiator Sandals For Less

I'm in love with the gladiator sandal look. I've been searching for just the right high heeled pair. These Delanco by Jessica Simpson are gorgeous, and what I had envisioned but spendy at $89. I also wasn't sold on the wood accent.

I was at Target and stumbled onto these beauties! Mossimo Petrova $29.99. The picture doesn't do them justice. Here it makes them look shiny and plastic like, hence making them look cheap. That is NOT the case, in real life the uppers look very much like the JS picture. When my new camera arrives I will try to get a better shot. They are comfy for the heel height, the straps make your foot feel very secure. I did find that most Mossimo shoes run a bit big, I usually wear a 7 and sized down to a 6 1/2. I put them on in the car after I bought them, and was complimented by a stranger at the next store I went to. ***** five stars! I highly suggest you pick up a pair while you still can. 4.25" heel high, 3/4" platform.

Welcome to my blog YouTubers! If you've seen any of my videos you've probably heard me complain about my camera. It doesn't show colors true to life. It's caused me to stop making tutorials because my eye makeup looks like a smear of poo. =( The only good thing I can say about it is that since the quality is so crappy, it blurs many skin imperfections.

I'm so excited to announce that I finally have a new camera on the way! I chose the Canon Powershot S2 Is, it looky like this:

I checked into what camera other YouTubers use. Two girl's video quality stood out to me, their makeup always came across clear and vibrant. I found out they both use the same camera, that baby pictured above. It was originally a spendy camera, but it's been out for awhile and the price has dropped significantly. It's only 5 mp, which is pretty puny. The video quality seems to be better than a lot of the higher mp cameras I've seen used on Youtube though. I can't wait till it gets here!
